HipSick Unusual Theatre is beyond excited to announce the first dates for #ShapeME. After months of postponements and uncertainty they are finally going to perform #ShapeME in front of a live audience this September.
#ShapeME is a performative installation that deals with different perspectives on the virtual identity.
After PUPPIES FOR SALE, the trilogy 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘺 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘕𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 continues with #ShapeME.
#ShapeME emphasizes the performer’s own relationship to the fabricated real, the makeability of the body, and the psychological effects these concepts have on us. Does your life matter if you don’t continuously show it off online? If others can’t see how fit you are and how perfect your skin looks?
