The basic (2ndhand) materials for Ida's textile and multi media objects, get a second life through upcycling and recycling.
Through combinations such as plastic with textile, such as acrylic paint with wool, buttons and beads, her work results in a dynamic type of object that connects the past with the present. It also demonstrates its support for balanced development for generations to come.
Most of the materials used are bought at flea markets, in junk shops or have been received.
Basic materials are: industrial waste, scrap textile, old knitted sweaters, rejected wool, second-hand dolls, antique and vintage buttons from factory stocks, etc.
