From East to West, the biggest competitive search in history is now on for emerging designers who have the talent and determination to not only cut waste out of fashion but to put waste back into fashion. Leading this search is the EcoChic Design Award, the sustainable fashion design competition that challenges designers to reduce and reuse textile waste. The 2015/16 competition cycle recently opened its doors and is celebrating its fifth anniversary and its rapid growth from inauguration in Hong Kong in 2011 to now calling for entries in over 100 countries in Asia and Europe.
